Metric sheet goods and lumber are not the inch sizes: 18 mm plywood is 0.7087", a little under 3/4" (19.05 mm), and 600 mm spacing is 23 5/8", not 24". Measure the actual material when it matters.

How do you convert mm to inches?

Divide by 25.4. 50 mm ÷ 25.4 = 1.9685", about 1 15/16". The other way, multiply inches by 25.4: 2" = 50.8 mm.

What is 10 mm in inches?

10 mm = 0.3937", just over 3/8" (0.375" = 9.525 mm). 1 cm is the same as 10 mm.

Is 6 mm the same as 1/4 inch?

Close, but not equal: 6 mm = 0.2362" and 1/4" = 6.35 mm. 6 mm reads as 1/4" on a tape measure, but it is 0.35 mm smaller.
